Launch of the HTC First!

This week, the phone world welcomes the launch of the HTC First. The first of its kind in that, it is the only smartphone with Facebook 'baked' into the home interface. Facebook is pre-loaded and a bubble of the user's profile image lives on the screen. The home screen shows your friends’ status updates and you can like and comment on those updates from there. It also lets you access Android apps from a customized app launcher. 


The phone demonstrates the increased usage and usage of smart phone technology to access the social network. “Our phones are designed around apps, not people, and we want to change that,” says Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook.










Attributes of the new Smartphone include:



-Screen Resolution is 4.3 inch, 1280 x 720p display.

-It weighs 4.37 ounces.
-It is made by a rubberized material.
-The phone can be purchased in 4 different colors.



The HTC was will be launched in the USA on the 12th of April while the European launch will take place this Summer.
