How to Configure APN Settings

When you unlock your cell phone and we want to use a SIM card from another service provider to connect to the Internet, we need to have configured the Access Point Name (APN). Nevertheless, there are some phones that set up APN automatically as soon as you power it on with a different SIM card.

Each carrier has their own settings that we will have to enter in the APN section of your phone. According to your mobile operating system will need to go to one area or another to set.

How to set the APN in Android, iPhone and Windows Phone

Windows Phone
Go to the applications list and click on Settings-> Mobil Data -> Add APN. Here you introduce the data from your services provider we list below.

Android
In Android is similar. Go Settings-> Wireless Networks -> Mobile networks -.> Access Point Names (the path may vary depending on the version of Android and model and brand of the mobile, it´s possible that at the end the text is APN and do not name the access point.)

iPhone
To configure the APN in iPhone or iPad you have to go to Settings -> General -> Network -> Network mobile data and there we put the data from your operator.
