Unlocking Steps for Samsung Phones

Unlock Samsung Phone

* Video proof will be required if the Unlock code does not work, it's a good idea to film it so we can help trouble shoot what the problem is.

There is an error with some Galaxy phones where sometimes when entering the code it will display "Sim Network Unlock Unsuccessful", when in fact the device was unlocked. Try pulling the battery and restart the phone, if the prompt for "Sim Network Unlock Pin" no longer appears, the device has been successfully unlocked.

There are Multiple Unlock Codes

Unlock Code is the  Network=xxxxxxxx Unlock Code as shown below:

Example:
NETWORK=xxxxxxxx; PROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; SUBPROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; DEFREEZE=xxxxxxxx

* You can ignore the rest of the codes, unless you are receiving a "Phone Freeze" message when trying to input the Unlock Code. (Instructions on Freeze Code message your will find below)

How to enter the code:
Try the following Instructions in below Order: (**Different phones have different Unlock Code Input Instructions**)

Method #1 Insert a Non accepted SIM card in your phone and power on. Once finished loading your phone will ask you to enter a code, enter the Unlock Code
*Non Accepted SIM card is any SIMcard not from the original provider

OR

Method #2 Go to the dial screen on your phone as if you are going to make a call and press: #7465625*638*UNLOCKCODE# (8 digit unlock code)

OR

Method #3 Go to the dial screen on your phone as if you are going to make a call and press: #0111*UNLOCKCODE# (8 digit unlock code)

If you tried above steps and your Phone says, "Code Accepted" or "Network Unlock Successful" or "Not Yet Personalized" your phone is now fully Unlocked!!!

*Please note if you are not receiving any signal after unlocking, make sure your wireless connections are turned on after unlocking the phone. Also pull the battery and restart phone.

How to ensure that my Phone is Fully Unlocked?

Go to the dial screen on your phone, and press *#7465625#

A menu will be displayed that will resemble the following...

1. [ ] Network lock
2. [ ] Subset lock
3. [ ] SP lock

If everything if OFF, then your phone is fully unlocked.

Trouble Shooting:
1.My hone says "Phone Freeze"

What is “Phone freeze” - it is a result of the incorrect code being inputted incorrectly too many times, it means your Samsung device is Hardlocked.  You will require a Defreeze code and a Network Code to Unlock your phone.

Example:
NETWORK=xxxxxxxx; PROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; SUBPROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; DEFREEZE=xxxxxxxx

2. "Code Error" or "SIM Network Unlock Unsuccessful" What do I do?

If you get above message on your phone  Please check your IMEI number by pressing *#06#, this is the most common reason the code doesn't work.  If the first 15 digits which appear is different from the 15 digit IMEI number provided on the order,  please send email to: Contact@UnlockCode4u.com

*If this is not working, go to Option #3

Option #3
1.   Turn off the Wi-Fi on your phone and then turn device ON without SIM card.

Once it's on go to phone dial screen and DIAL: *7465625*638*#
it will bring you to the NETWORK LOCK screen.

- in MCC/MNC field enter code for the service provider your phone is originally from (eg 31026 for T-Mobile USA)

check here for list of codes:

**If your network has more than one mcc/mnc please try all of them this is very important

- in CONTROL KEY field enter the UNLOCK code
- hit OK
- you should get a message: LOCK SUCCESSFUL

Power phone down, insert SIM card you want your phone to work with and power on.

3. I can make Calls and Text but I'm not getting Internet Service.

In this case you will need to adjust what's called the APN settings.
The APN settings vary depending on the service provider you are trying to use.  Please contact your service provider and they can assist you setting this up.  There is no separate unlock for data or internet.

**If you can call or text, your phone's network is already fully unlocked.**

4. Phone is asking for the "PUK" or "Security Pin" or "Password"

If your phone is asking for one of the above, it is the SIM card personal password or phone security password NOT the Network Lock which we provide for you.  You can contact your service provider for this.
**Once you bypass this, you can use the Network Unlock Code provided by us.**

5. Phone seems to be unlocked but I'm not getting any signal

Please ensure with your service provider that your unlocked phone will be compatible on their network.
Not all GSM phones are compatible with any Network after unlocking it.  The unlocked phone must be able to support the Network's Frequency.  If you are unsure of this, please contact them regarding this.

It is also very important to make sure your device has not been reported loss or stolen as they may also cause this issue.

After unlocking your phone, please pull the battery for a couple minutes and then restart the device.  It may take a few minutes for your phone to pick up the new signal. Also go to your Network settings on your phone, and make sure the device can detect the signal from the card you are trying use.
